LAUNCHING INTO TEACHING COURSE
Designed as an introductory course, this workshop is offered each spring and fall as a half-day or over two evenings.
By the end of these workshops, you will be able to:
- Prepare to host learners within the clinical setting
- Demonstrate familiarity of the educational frameworks utilized by Dalhousie Family Medicine
- Develop strategies for teaching and providing feedback
- Recognize the role of assessment in learner development.

Dalhousie Medicine Certificate in Clinical Teaching (CCT)
This online course, co-developed by the Department of Family Medicine and the Faculty of Medicine CDPME office, is offered annually as a comprehensive course of the fundamentals for teaching. It is accredited for 45 hours of primarily asynchronous learning, with 3 synchronous webinars over 9 months.
